PHIL 3310. Exploring the philosophical, ethical, spiritual, existential, social, and personal implications of a godless universe, and supporting their study at Middle Tennessee State University & beyond.
When I watched this for the first time it was the first time I heard about evolution. Richard Dawkins explains it using a giant combination lock model and Mount Improbable.
I first heard of evolution from one of the Scopes Trial expert witnesses (whose expertise was deemed inadmissible by the Tennessee judge). Winterton Curtis was his name, he was my first landlord.
But I think I first really started paying attention when I heard it from Carl Sagan.
What a fashionista he was, in those days!
