Biblical View of Climate Change
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h644Y_xbDYE
I have been taking the Climate Change Lecture series with the honors college this semester. In this particular lecture, Dean Vile presents a biblical view on climate change. We have talked quite a bit about climate change on this discussion board and obviously, we have talked about religion. I just thought I would share this and ask you all your thoughts on his lecture.

Thanks for reminding me, back when I gave my Honors Lecture in February I said I looked forward to the Dean's in April. Guess he fast-tracked it when it became clear that we weren't going to get to April (in the conventional classroom sense).
ReplyDeleteSpecifically I'm interested in whether he disputes Hagglund's statement that religious people can't value finite life or its natural conditions, insofar as they are invested in an afterlife that transcends everything earthly. If any of you watches this before I do, please let us know if he addresses that.
