Didn't see The Joker, and won't, but Joacquin Phoenix gave a nice speech last night.

Why won't you see the movie? There was certainly a lot of resistance to its depiction of violence. But I think some of the claims about this overreached. Having seen the movie--and I'm no fan of gratuitous, romanticized violence--I think it's worth watching and, more importantly, thinking about.

DeleteI haven't seen the movie either. I'm more of a batman kind of person. Joker freaked me out ever since I was a child lol haven't gotten over it.
