Bibles recently were removed from an Easter display at a New Mexico veterans medical center gift shop after the Military Religious Freedom Foundation — a secular activist group — objected to them.

  1. I'd rather that secularists would advocate for a MORE inclusive Easter display, not less. Alongside the Bible, include books about the renewal of life, new beginnings, the human capacity for resilience and recovery, etc. Better to be a pluralistic, not militaristic, secularist.
