Dayton field trip in July

For those who may be interested in joining my MALA "Evolution in America" class field trip to Dayton TN in July-

They stage an annual dramatic re-enactment of the infamous 1925  Scopes "Monkey Trial" every summer in the very Courthouse, the very seats in fact, where it all went down. We're going to the matinee performance on Jy 21, we'll be in the first six seats in the front row. If any of you want to go, I have one unclaimed reserve seat, and there are also still good tickets available right behind us in row 2. Check it out at  https://scopesfestival.com/

The very nice man on the phone who helped me with my ticket purchase, btw, said he'd once had a class with Prof. Bombardi and it left "a very great impression... he had a lot of energy."

He promises we'll have a great time and offers a dining tip: "Monkey Town Brewing" in Dayton. Let me know if any of you decide you'd like to go. It's something I've wanted to do forever, after learning about it years ago in a funny memoir by Darwin's great-great grandson Matthew Chapman called Trials of the Monkey (which we'll be reading in MALA 6040).
